Career Interview with Meddi

  1. What is your current occupation, or your major? Working part time in campaigns, co-founder of Do Great Things Productions.
  2. What drew you to this? Every time I was at my day job, I would be thinking about my passions, so if I'm going to pursue my passions during my free time, I should figure out a way to get paid for it
  3. What do you love about it, and what do you dislike about it?
    • Love - I love the creative side of DGTP, and the challenge of every new project.
    • Dislike - The Taxes!
  4. What are your natural strengths? I'm really good at organizing people. This plays heavily in what I do because I orchestrate each project. I am also a visual artist, I can put my creative input into my work. I am also really good at envisioning the final product. I am a natural puzzle person, and I can see everything in my head.
  5. When did you know you wanted to choose this career?
  6. What's your natural talent? Organizer, Helper, Creative, Thinker
  7. What do you value?  Be true and honest with yourself. I believe in understanding who you are as a person, and where you are as a person. I also value the Golden Rule.
  8. How does your career align with your interests/passions? I am an artist by nature, so having a company that helps to create art, is a literal dream come true. I see art in everything.
  9. What type of impact do you want to make on the world? When I helped found DGTP, there was a disconnect in the art community. I want to make it easier for those people who follow.
  10. Any advice you would give to someone who is struggling with career choices? It is easy to pursue the beaten path, but you should bet on yourself. I would hate to have you work a job and in 20 years be miserable and wonder, what if? Take the risk, pursue your passions, and bet on yourself.
